We had family over for the typical all-American Memorial Day fest: hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill. After everyone left my husband and I relaxed on the sofa as our daughter ran around the living room burning up some post-grandparent visit energy. As soon as she noticed us lounging on the sofa she came over and demanded to be “UP” too. So there we all were cuddling on the sofa, I kissed my daughter as she tried to poke my husband in the eye, and I with camera in hand as always caught the moment. It was a good moment. It felt like this is where we are all suppose to be. It felt like home.
